FC Mangalore U-17s end I-League campaign in 3rd Place

Missing out on a final round by a single point, FC Mangalore U17s finished their qualifying round with 13 points – one short of FC Goa who finished in second place in what was a difficult group in the AIFF Elite Youth League 2024.

Two early away defeats against eventual qualifiers Dempo Sports Club and FC Goa proved costly in the end despite being unbeaten for the entire home leg and a come-from-behind final day 2-1 victory against Churchill Brothers in the last round of matches.

The boys are still in contention in the KSFA u-17 Youth League, having reached the semifinals and the I-league experience is going to provide more confidence as they head to the Bangalore Football Stadium to try and win the silverware at the state level.
