Following a gruelling selection trials, the final probables are now hard at work prepare for the upcoming KSFA Karnataka Youth Premier League to be held in Bangalore later this month. The competition will see the squad travel on a weekly basis to play against some of the best sides in the state.
Sanju Gopalan, who recently attended the C Certificate course, has been appointed as the Head Coach and will be assisted by Mohammed Hasil KV.
“It’s a honour to lead this squad and our focus is to show that Dakshina Karnataka can produce some quality talents who can challenge for the title. We have been preparing meticulously and will leave no stone unturned.”
FC Mangalore has been drawn in Group A alongside FAB, Stadium FC, Boyca Academy, Rebels FC and BFC Soccer Schools Elite.
Technical Director Biby Thomas, who is currently in Bangalore as Head Coach of the Karnataka State Team for the upcoming Santosh Trophy qualifiers, shared his thoughts on the tournament

The team is currently training at the Club HQ in Deralakatte.
