Training to resume in Bio-secure Bubble

Given the current situation with the pandemic, the FC Mangalore Management team is monitoring the situation to make a safe return to training

Given the current situation with the pandemic, the FC Mangalore Management team is monitoring the situation very closely and looking at SOPs which will enable training to resume in our premises in a systematic manner keeping covid guidelines as top priority.

FC Mangalore successfully completed the High Performance Camp over 70 Days at our Deralakatte Campus without any Covid related issues thanks to some very strict adherence by players and staff alike over the period.

“We are fortunate enough to have our campus quite literally in the shadow of one of the top covid hospitals in the Dakshina Karnataka Region. Thanks to that, we have access to the best healthcare expertise and infrastructure which enables us to focus on a holistic experience for all our players” said

Sujith KV, Manager FC Mangalore & Physical Education Director, Yenepoya University.

At present, the training facilities are going through a trial phase where players are slowly being introduced to a training environment in a phased manner. Considering that the region is also in the middle of a state-wide lockdown, all movement inside has been restricted.

“Our training facilities, clubhouse and residences are all located within a stone’s throw of each other and players have been given specifically given limited access to areas and have been following our guidelines very religiously. We will be monitoring the situation very closely and then consult our medical and management team to decide how and when to officially re-open our training facilities”, he concluded.

The FC Mangalore Media team is a small group of hardworking and extremely dedicated individuals dedicated at bringing you a unique and fresh perspective on a daily basis.
