Ms. Parvathi from Manipal School, Mangalore was the featured Physical Education Teacher during the AIFF-SAI National Sports Platform

The monumental AIFF SAI Khelo India E Patshala Program mobilised thousands of children across India during the last pandemic and it was our very own Ms. Parvathi who was featured in the final closing video watched by a nationwide audience.

In other good news, FC Mangalore’s Head of Youth Development Shailesh Karkera was also part of the program as one of the Judges for the Football Competitions alongside some of the top names in Indian football leadership.

The closing ceremony for ePathshala in Football (Grassroots and Intermediate), an athlete coaching and education programme by the Sports Authority of India in association with the All India Football Federation, was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 via video conferencing.

It was a great to see Ms. Parvathi on the big screen and in a way this is a tribute to the fantastic work that she has been doing at the grassroots level for the past decade. A proud moment both for Manipal School and for FC Mangalore

– Shailesh Karkera, AIFF SAI Judges Panel Member
